Jon Churney. Board Vice President and secretary:  Jon brings to the organization relationships with community colleges and local
churches, knowledge of the needs and challenges of young people in multi-cultural Chicago, and a background in carpentry.


Noemi Bucio  Board Member, Treasurer:  Noemi speaks Spanish and English, which will assist in our outreach to Hispanic groups.  
She has contacts at local community colleges, experience with event planning, knowledge of the needs and challenges of young
people in multi-cultural Chicago, and significant small business experience.


Andrew Stricker M.A. in Mathematics Education from DePaul. Board member and teacher at Evergreen Park High School:  Drew
brings to organization eight years of teaching experience, connections to Chicago schools, and experience in accounting.  


Jane Kabogo M.S. R.D. L.D.N. has worked extensively with families as a WIC coordinator, and as a nursing home nutritionist.  As
a native Kenyan she'll assist in our eventual expansion to East Africa, as well as in developing trainings for nursing home staff.    

Dan Prusaitis M.Ed. Executive-Director.  Dan has worked as an activist and social worker in many not-for-profits, as a public
school teacher, with a family, multi-generational, small manufacturing business.  Last year he finished his ninth year teaching in
Chicago’s west side public high schools.
